This is the accessory people skip and regret. Dash cams write continuously in a loop, overwriting old footage all day — a workload ordinary microSD cards are not designed to sustain, which can shorten their working life and, in some cases, lead to silent failures where a clip was never actually saved. SanDisk rates this High Endurance line for that exact use, quoting up to 10,000 hours of recording.
The specs to look for are all here: C10, U3, and V30 speed for smooth 4K writing, plus an SD adapter in the box. 128GB is a sensible middle ground and it supports higher capacities in compatible cameras; go larger only if you run dual channels or want more parking-mode history before the loop wraps.
